“It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.”

-Tom Robbins

FAMILY:
You come into this world a babe.

You crawl on your belly and

take your first steps.

You enter the world totally helpless.

You pee all over yourself

and someone lovingly cleans you up.

With your family you feel your first disappointments

and recover,

still believing in the love you all share.

With your family

you learn that emotions run through you.

You are not your emotions.

You hurt and get hurt

and still keep on loving yourself and your family.

You learn how to be human.

You make mistakes.

You take risks and do things wrong.

You grow from a snotty nose kid,

into a compassionate and sharing human being.

You are home.

You can be yourself.

You lay your heart wide open.

You see with your heart.

You hear with your heart.

You feel with your heart.

Here is where you give and receive love.

Here is where you eat from your table.

You scoop up on your plate what you desire,

and don’t have to eat the whole thing.

Your boundaries expand and contract

and you don’t die from it.

You just stretch and become

the hugeness that you truly are.

Here you dance your truth

and come back again and again.

You have a seat at your table.

You are always invited to be here.

Here you have a seat at your table.

Here you ingest what is served.

Here you serve what you have created.

The table is round.

Here you have a seat at your table.

You are home.

If you pulled family,

you are being asked to

Surround yourself

with familiarity.

Intimately know the trees that shelter you

from wind, rain, sun, sound.

They are your lungs.

Intimately know the earth your home rests upon.

Water it with your sweat and tears.

Soften it with your love and attention.

Feed it by composting your fears.

Learn the native around you: plants, animals.

What is wild around you

that you can preserve?

Let the Dandelions grow!

Nurture the wild.

The wild is a part of you.

The wild is your family.

Birds, bees, squirrels, spiders are not a nuisance.

FAMILY:

Where you freely give and receive love.

HOME:

Your sanctuary to recharge your heart center.

Your neighbors ARE

your guardians.

You keep each other safe.

Being familiar with who and what surrounds you

is your True homeland security.

Right now is an exciting time to be alive. We live in a state of paradox. We have an abundance of technology at our fingertips. Despite our ability to connect to a world of people, places and information, humanity is plagued with depression, PTSD, and addiction. As western medicine fails to restore human resilience and wholeness, psychedelic medicine has proven to be extremely effective in treating human suffering. We are in a time of global upheaval and face challenges that range from climate change to political anarchy. Integration is how we find our center in the midst of chaos. As adults we know change is our only constant. Integration therapy is the process of honoring our innocence, standing in our integrity, discovering choices, and knowing that simply being present is our greatest gift to humanity. We become stronger from conflict when we face our fears, wrestle our monsters, and accept our humanness. “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.” It’s possible that fragmenting ourselves by race, socioeconomic group, religious identity, and sexual orientation causes distress. Unifying our mind, body, and spark of life brings us grace and ease. Many people think of psychedelics as relics from the hippie generation or something taken by ravers and music festival-goers, but they may one day be used to treat disorders ranging from social anxiety to depression, according to research presented at the annual convention of the American Psychological Association. “Combined with psychotherapy, some psychedelic drugs like MDMA, psilocybin and ayahuasca may improve symptoms of anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder,” said Cristina L. Magalhaes, PhD, of Alliant International University Los Angeles, and co-chair of a symposium on psychedelics and psychotherapy. “More research and discussion are needed to understand the possible benefits of these drugs, and psychologists can help navigate the clinical, ethical and cultural issues related to their use.” Transpersonal Psychology bridges the gap between science and spirituality, and honors that we are spirits seeking our unique human experience. I help you melt fear and resistance for rapid evolution. Living inside a chaotic childhood I was blessed to encounter psychedelics in my early teens. The psychedelic experiences were in the context of self discovery. In the absence of belonging to family, home and consistency, I found an abundance of Synchronicity and Spirituality with the assistance of psychedelics.
